美國(guó)Roche NimbleGen ? ?
2007年羅氏診斷總裁Severin Schwan表示，NimbleGen的芯片技術(shù)能補(bǔ)充羅氏現(xiàn)有的基因組研究隊(duì)伍，此次收購(gòu)是羅氏在基因組研究市場(chǎng)上打下基礎(chǔ)重要策略之一。此次收購(gòu)計(jì)劃將NimbleGen納入羅氏應(yīng)用科學(xué)部。

NimbleGen Systems公司是一家以美國(guó)威斯康星為基地的生物技術(shù)公司，今年3月在美國(guó)證券交易委員會(huì)（US Securities and Exchange Commission）首次公開(kāi)發(fā)行股票（ initial public offering，IPO），但未注明確定的日期和開(kāi)放股票價(jià)格（opening share price）。

NimbleGen主要提供了基因組雜交，染色質(zhì)免疫共沉芯片，比較基因組測(cè)序，以及表達(dá)分析。羅氏認(rèn)為NimbleGen的芯片系統(tǒng)“對(duì)于羅氏的創(chuàng)新性基因組研究工具平臺(tái)，比如LightCycler qPCR系統(tǒng)，以及近期從454生命科技公司獲得的高通量測(cè)序系統(tǒng)，具有極高的配合性，能很好的相互補(bǔ)充。”

同時(shí)羅氏也表示NimbleGen計(jì)劃“在近期內(nèi)”，擴(kuò)展高級(jí)基因組分析所需要的更高密度芯片，整合儀器系統(tǒng)，以及相關(guān)試劑和耗材的產(chǎn)品線。2006年NimbleGen在芯片銷售方面的收入與2005年相比，增加了43%，從950萬(wàn)美元增加到了1350萬(wàn)美元。

NimbleGen去年11月從Affymetrix獲得了核酸芯片技術(shù)的專利許可，1月又與Oxford Gene Technology簽署了一份有關(guān)寡核苷酸芯片IP的專利協(xié)議。

另外，一項(xiàng)新的報(bào)道引述羅氏一發(fā)言人的話，表示羅氏雖然目前沒(méi)有進(jìn)一步的管線計(jì)劃，但將繼續(xù)關(guān)注基因組研究工具公司。“研究組研究工具是未來(lái)任何一個(gè)藥物研究機(jī)構(gòu)的重點(diǎn)”，“這些工具將有助于我們加深對(duì)于疾病以及易患因子的遺傳因素的了解，也將有助于識(shí)別潛在的藥物靶標(biāo)，因此具有極大的潛力。”
