During the months preceding March 1968, when the company was founded, we were involved, among other things, with finding a company name related to our business.

A name that could be understood in all languages, or almost all, and also easy to pronounce: CONTROLS.

From the beginning, we wanted to operate both domestically and internationally, in order to best utilize our technical skills and to best serve the needs of the market.

Milan, being strategically located and having a particularly favourable climate for industrial and commercial growth, was chosen as our base of operation.

The growing demand for testing, prompted not only by all the major works under construction (dams, highways, high speed railways system, tunnels, bridges, etc.) but also by new Standards involving antiseismic construction, land protection, and building recovery, has created new requirements for the automation of tests and the development of advanced equipment.

The major contribution to this exceptional growth has been given by our team of hardware and software specialists as, practically all new machines and testing systems are electronically controlled.

Our Industrial Production
CONTROLS since its beginning, has been the designer and manufacturer of its testing machines and accessories which, after nearly forty years of activity, now numbers several thousands.

This impressive number and the series production are the way to good quality products at an acceptable cost.
This is due to our production organization based on complete internal standardization, real time inventory management and a rigorous acceptance inspection of all parts ordered from outiside suppliers.
