PROTEC was founded in 1984 and has since become one of the most innovative and outstanding manufacturers of X-ray film processors. In order to be able to play a major role in the digital growth market too, PROTEC has been expanding its activities into this segment. Since 2001 we deal intensively with the subject of digital systems and software for medical imaging. Whether analogue or digital: an important factor of success for our company is the concentration on the respective market requirements and developments.

Thanks to the dedication of a professional and remarkable team of staff, the conventional and digital systems for medical imaging manufactured in Oberstenfeld are now in demand in over 100 countries around the world. As a global player we are also represented at all important international trade fairs.
